Time running out to take part in Big Spring Clean 2012

Thursday, 19 April 2012

The Big Spring Clean campaign, coordinated by Tidy NI and supported by local councils including Fermanagh District Council, runs from 1st April to 30th April 2012; so there’s not long left to get on board and register to clean up your local area.

You can organise an event at a place and time of your choosing, or alternatively, you can join an event already registered at www.tidynorthernireland.org. Clean up events can be tailored to suit you and your group, whether they last for one hour or an afternoon, any day of the week and at any time.
Fermanagh District Council can support you and your Big Spring Clean event by providing information, clean up equipment such gloves, refuse sacks, litter pickers and hi-vis vests, and a waste collection and disposal service, all free of charge.
So, if you, your local community group or school would like to organise a tidy up in your local area, you have until April 30th to register.

Fermanagh District Council will acknowledge your participation in the campaign and appreciate all your efforts in ensuring your school, community and local area are litter free.
