Electric charging points and electric vehicles coming to Fermanagh

Fermanagh gets ready to make the switch! 

As electric vehicles get set to take the world by storm, Fermanagh District Council, as part of the ecar project, is making sure that electric vehicles are always fully charged.

Fermanagh District Council invites you to the official launch of the ecar Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, now installed at eight locations in Co. Fermanagh.

The launch takes place in Eden Street Car Park, Enniskillen, at 1.30pm on Friday 27 April 2012.

Fermanagh District Council will also unveil its new fleet of electric vans. Come along and see the next generation of vehicles and the charge point infrastructure in use.

Eight electric vehicle charging points have been installed across County Fermanagh with further installations scheduled to take place over the next year. Charging points are available for electric vehicle drivers at the following locations:

Main Street, Belleek
 
Enniskillen
Cross Street, Car Park, Enniskillen
Eden Street, Car Park, Enniskillen
Quay Lane North, Car Park, Enniskillen
Queen St, Car Park, Enniskillen
Shore Road East, Car Park, Enniskillen
 
Irvinestown
Link Road, Car Park, Irvinestown
 
Lisnaskea
Cross Street, Car Park, Lisnaskea
 
Come along and join us in celebrating the arrival of electric vehicle charging points and electric vans to Fermanagh District Council’s fleet on Friday 27 April 2012.
