Financial assistance available for hanging baskets and Best Kept Garden competitions

Fermanagh District Council is currently accepting applications from Chambers of Commerce, Village Associations and Community Groups in the county for funding the provision of hanging baskets and Best Kept Garden competitions.

A payment of £10.00 per hanging basket will be made by the Council to groups who wish to plant their own hanging baskets in towns and villages in Fermanagh (empty baskets supplied by the Council) or Fermanagh District Council can supply filled baskets, by arrangement.
Fermanagh District Council can also provide financial assistance of £250.00 and assistance with judging for Best Kept Garden competitions. Villages or housing areas must have a properly constituted community, residents or development association. Payment will only be made on evidence of cost of applicable items and proof the event took place.
The closing date for receipt of interest is 26 April 2012.
