| The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment has today launched a consultation document on a draft Telecommunications Action Plan for the period 2011-2015.
The Action Plan sets out DETI’s thoughts on the key priorities and themes to be taken forward over the next 4 years in order to ensure that Northern Ireland continues to have a telecommunications infrastructure that is fit for purpose and capable of supporting the growth of the local economy.
The consultation document (and the accompanying impact assessments) is available to view or download from the Department’s website at www.detini.gov.uk/content-home-consultations. As part of the consultation process, DETI will be hosting a series of public meetings in the weeks commencing 14 and 21 March 2011. This includes a public meeting on Wednesday 16th March 2011 at 7pm in the Clinton Centre, Enniskillen.
