Hallowe’en Weekend Extravaganza for Enniskillen

Fermanagh District Council has lined up another spectacular Hallowe’en for the people of Fermanagh and further afield to take place on the banks of the River Erne.

A whole weekend of activities has been organised to appeal to everyone both young and not so young on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October.

The weekend of fun begins on Saturday at 2pm with the Hallowe’en Extravaganza at Enniskillen Castle Museums and is followed by an evening of spectacular fireworks at the Broadmeadow.

The capers don’t end there, as the following day Fermanagh Lakeland Forum has laid on an extra special treat with a children’s Circus School.

Speaking about the forthcoming Hallowe’en event at Enniskillen Castle, Sarah McHugh, Manager of Museum Services said:

“We are planning another wonderful event here at the Castle.  There will be ghoulish goings on, spooky cookie workshops, crafty capers, scary stories and lots of other entertainment.  Everyone is invited to come along in fancy dress and join the festival atmosphere that’s always a feature of our Hallowe’en fun.  Please remember to buy your tickets early though as we always sell out days before the event.”

Emma McManus, Manager of the Lakeland Forum speaking about the fun planned for Sunday 31 October said:

“We are delighted to welcome the Circus School to Fermanagh Lakeland Forum for the first time.  The Itty Bitty Circus caters for Children age 4 -7 basic acrobatics, juggling scarves and balls, flower sticks and plastic plate spinning, the Youth Circus allows children  age 8 plus to try stilt walking, tight rope, unicycle and more.
