| Applications are invited from community and voluntary organisations, under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Anti Poverty and Social Exclusion Rural Challenge Programme. Applications will be accepted for projects that assist in tackling poverty and social exclusion within rural communities.
All funded activity must be completed by 31 March 2011. The maximum amount of funding that can be awarded is £5,000 to a community/voluntary organisation. Applicants should note that as funds are limited this is a competitive process.
The Rural Challenge Programme involves an application form and compulsory attendance at a Best Practice Workshop.
Applications to the Programme will be welcomed from voluntary and community based organisations who must at the time of application, have a formal constitution or set of rules and a specific bank account. The Programme is administered from Rural Development Division, 21 Hospital Road, Omagh, County Tyrone.
You must register for an application form with RDD Omagh before registering to attend a Best Practice workshop.
