If you are thinking about setting up a social enterprise or growing an existing social enterprise, the Invest NI Social Entrepreneurship Programme may be able to assist you.
The programme has four elements to help organisations to develop start-up, growth or export businesses. These are:
Lead-in Development: Advice for groups without a clearly identified business idea or groups that need help to refine their idea.
Core Capability Support: Support for groups to develop their business plan, financial assistance, start-up capability advice and aftercare during the first year of trading.
Strategic Mentoring: One-to-one specific strategic mentoring, aimed at existing social enterprises with growth and export potential.
Transitional Groups: Advice and support for voluntary and community sector groups making the transition to becoming a social enterprise.
