| Airtricity is allocating £25,000 to projects in the Local Community within 10km of Tappaghan Wind Farm, Co Fermanagh.
Airtricity would like to invite applications from community-based projects/activities in the vicinity of the Tappaghan Wind Farm. A total of £25,000 (£13,000 in Co Fermanagh) will be distributed through the awards. Projects from all aspects of the community will be considered – economic, social and educational. However, preference will be given to projects that have an environmental theme and/or are linked to sustainable local activities.
The closing date for applications is Friday 10 April 2009. Applicants must be located within 10km of Tappaghan Wind Farm, Co Fermanagh. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 15 May 2009.
