Rally Ireland Ceremonial Launch at Enniskillen Castle

Enniskillen Castle is the venue for the launch of this year's World Rally Championship which takes place at 7.30pm on Thursday 29 January.

The Ceremonial Start in Enniskillen will give spectators a chance to see the world’s best rally drivers up close at the start ramp with the event also being relayed live on a large TV screen in the Buttermarket.

The Castle grounds will be open for a limited number of spectators to view the ceremonial launch and the gates will open at approximately 5pm.

Musical entertainment by local acts will be taking place at the Buttermarket from c. 8pm

This will be followed by a performance by Eddie Jordan (former Formula 1 Team Owner) & his band, the Robbers.

Rally Ireland 2009 will travel through seven counties in the north and south of Ireland, including Cavan, Leitrim, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Sligo, Donegal and Roscommon.
