New Rural Development Programme 2007-2013

The new Rural Development Programme in this region will be delivered using a cluster of 4 councils:

• Cookstown District Council
• Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council
• Magherafelt District Council
• Fermanagh District Council

Information sessions have been organised in each of the District council areas to inform local people about the new Rural Development Programme.

To assist with delivery of the new programme and to ensure local participation, a new Local Action Group (LAG) will be set up which will cover the Council cluster area and be representative of Councillors and relevant stakeholders from across the region.

Cookstown District Council is keen to ensure that the potential benefits of the new RDP are maximised and would encourage all interested parties to attend.

Sessions will be held in:

Cookstown - The Shannon Suite, Loughry College, on Monday 3^rd March 2008 from 7-9pm

Dungannon – Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Offices, on Tuesday 4^th March 2008 at 7.30 pm

Fermanagh – College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise on Wednesday 5^th March 2008 at 7.30 pm
