F.D.C. Good Relations Strategy

Wednesday, 23 August 2006

With the launch of the Governments new Good Relations Policy (“A Shared Future”) in March 2005, Fermanagh District Council has sought to be a “lead” Council in terms of developing a three-year strategy to address Good Relations. This should enable Fermanagh District Council to be at the forefront of development of Good Relations programming and will enable the County to benefit from the delivery of a focused strategy that seeks to enable all of the communities of Fermanagh to progress towards a “shared future”.

In developing the Fermanagh District Council Good Relations Strategy, the Council has sought to consider how it might contribute locally to the policy aims and objectives set by the Northern Ireland Office.
