This is the first ever Arts Festival for Enniskillen Town: this year’s festival boasts a wide plethora of alternative music for all of you sound buffs out there! The festival programme will be online during September 2006 - for now here is a preview.....
Musicians lined up so far include:
Adrian Dunbar & the Jonah's, Blue Jar, Siobhan Petit and her 9 piece swing band, Erne Rising, Border Young Fiddles, Waterson & Carthy, Dennision String Quartet, Andy Irvine, Ramones Tribute band "Pin head", The Saberjets (red hot rockabilly band), The Panama Jazz Band, Wild night of NYAH (with Martin Donahoe and artists from Cavan), Eddie Reader, Hidden Fermanagh, The Ed Deane Band, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh & Mick O'Brien, ALTAN, Maighread & Triona ni Dhomhnaill, Indigo Fury, Fermanagh Concert Band, The Bearcat Cajun Boys, The Erne Siders, The Deans, The Henry McCullogh Band, Traditional Singers Club, Experimental Shortcuts, Pocket Promise, ANUNA, Pat McManus & his band, 4 men & a dog, Boys of the Lough, Big night of Country Music, Big night of Rock n roll music & night of dance music for those drum n bass lovers out there. Session trail around Enniskillen town :)
The programme also headlines comedian Kevin Macaleer, Comedy Theatre folks "those who can't", a huge programme of Visual arts - Enniskillen Visual arts open, Exhibition of work by William Scott, Public art by Niall Walsh & a huge craft fair by the local Fermanagh Crafts Consortium & members of the Buttermarket, Carnival day & numerous literature events.
