Rates Struck

At the Council meeting on the 2nd February 2004 Fermanagh District Council agreed the district rates to apply for the 2004/2005 year. The Central government have also announced the regional rates for 2004/2005 and as a result total rates bills will increase in the Fermanagh District Council area by 6.91% for domestic property holders and 3.6% for non-domestic property holders. The increase in the Council's district rate of 4.3% will be one of the lowest in the province and it is likely that Fermanagh will continue to have the lowest rate of all twenty-six Councils.
