Fay Cairnduff enjoys playing amongst all the colours of autumn to launch this Saturday's (24th October) Autumn Bounty event that the Northern Ireland Environment Agency is holding at Castle Archdale Country Park. The free family day out will celebrate the colours, tastes and aromas of Autumn from 10am-4pm.
Activities and entertainment include live music, interactive arts and crafts workshops in pine cone art and leaf rubbing, and actors from ‘Prickly Tales’ will be providing fun, inter-active, educational trails through the woodland. Alongside a tree sculptor, there’ll also be traditional folk theatre by the Armagh Rhymers and demonstrations of traditional Ulster crafts such as willow weaving, butter churning and loom weaving.
