Why not take part in the Walk Ten at Ulster American Folk Park this summer and raise money to support the work of local Marie Curie nurses.
The sponsored 10k twilight walk will take place on Friday, 17 August 2012 at 6.00pm.
During the sponsored walk you will enjoy a twilight stroll along the world famous Irish emigrant trail as you journey from the thatched cottages of Ulster to the log cabins of the American Frontier. Soak up the beautiful surroundings as the sun sets over Omagh.
Ensure you pack your picnic basket and then sit back and join in our festival-like atmosphere as we gather to celebrate the work of the local Marie Curie nurses with live music and family entertainment.
The evening will end with celebrations at 10.00pm as a tribute to our Marie Curie nurses. This is especially poignant, as this is the time when many time Marie Curie nurses begin their night shifts.
It is important to remember the fantastic work they do in caring for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
