‘Survive & Thrive’ is a unique business mentoring programme designed to safeguard and grow businesses in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council areas.
In developing the innovative programme Fermanagh and Omagh District Councils recognised the need to offer support for local businesses, which have been facing tough challenges over the past number of years, to survive and grow in the economic downturn. The programme aims not only to protect jobs and create employment opportunities, but to assist small local firms to grow and become more innovative by offering direct support through expert assistance on a one-to-one basis from a wide range of business mentors.
The Survive & Thrive programme will work throughout the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council areas seeking businesses that require support to survive and grow and put appropriate support in place to enable this survival and growth. Business reviews will be completed for each participating business with the Project Co-ordinator who will develop a bespoke Action Plan and arrange appropriate mentor support based on the needs identified by the business.
The programme is co-financed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) through the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland with match funding from Fermanagh District Council and Omagh District Council.
