Destination Fermanagh Tourism Strategy

Following a process of consultation and research undertaken in early 2005, Fermanagh District Council and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board jointly published a consultation paper on the concept of Destination Fermanagh in September 2005. A number of focus groups and a major conference on the Destination Fermanagh strategy, attended by almost 200 people, were then held. The conference was followed by a wider consultation process, which ended in October 2005. The responses to the consultation process were very positive about the proposed strategy and contributed valuable points of detail which have been incorporated throughout this, the final strategy document.
