The Finance Department is responsible for all financial functions within the Council including:

• Preparation of the annual Abstract of Accounts
• Preparation of Annual Budgets and the District Rate
• Financial administration – payroll, payments to suppliers and debtors
• Internal Audit
• Provision of Financial and Management Accountancy services

Information Technology

Information Technology is a support service under the control of the Head of Finance and ICT. The Department is responsible for

• Development and Implementation of the IT strategy
• Network Maintenance
• IT Support and Training

Suppliers of computer hardware, software and consummables may contact the IT Department.

The IT Department is also responsible for overseeing that the Council Website is functioning properly.
