Enniskillen airport (St. Angelo) is owned by Fermanagh District council.  After a comprehensive tendering and negotiating process, and with the help and advice of DRD,  Fermanagh District Council reached agreement with Enniskillen Airport Ltd, a company formed by two local businessmen, to manage, develop and promote St Angelo.

The airport offers excellent facilities for visiting pilots and their aircraft. There are various flight schools based at the airport which can offer lessons in Microlights, Light  Aircraft and Helicopters. A flight is the perfect way to see County Fermanagh from a different perspective.  There is also a restaurant open on site, open 7 days a week. St Angelo airport is vital to the economic development of Fermanagh and the surrounding cross-border region. The  infrastructure at  the airport includes substantial workspace provision currently fully occupied for the purpose of aircraft maintenance. Fermanagh District Council have plans to expand the workspace provision at the airport to include a major unit purpose built for the maintenance of larger aircraft.
