Amusement Permits

Under the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusements (NI) Order 1985 a permit is granted to an individual where the premises is used wholly or mainly for the provision of amusements by means of gaming machines.  Two types of Amusement Permit are available:

•  A permit under Article 108 (I) (c) with a maximum prize value of £8.00.  No-one under the age of 16 is allowed on the premises.
• A permit under Article 108 (I) (ca) with a maximum prize value of £25.00.  No-one under the age of 18 is allowed in these premises.
