The Department is actively involved in inter-agency education programmes such as Street Smart and Countrywise, and Western Board initiatives such as the Accident Prevention Strategy. These initiatives promote Home Safety issues in vulnerable sections of the population e.g. the young, the elderly, etc.
For any help or advice in the field of Home Accident Prevention please contact the Environmental Health Department.
