| Overview
The Higher Bridges Gallery is housed in the Clinton Centre building in the heart of Enniskillen town. The Clinton Centre was built in 2002 and dedicated to Bill Clinton and his contribution to the Peace Process in Northern Ireland.
The Art Gallery measures 110 square feet.

The aims of the Higher Bridges Gallery are:
- To enhance community arts practice in rural areas
- To promote the arts at a grass roots level for both the Visual arts & Crafts Sector
- To explore the opportunities for community arts to contribute to peace building within and between rural communities
- To contribute to the development of more imaginative and wide ranging policies and programmes which identify and address issues of access to and participation in the arts in rural areas
- To take high quality International art work into the rural community
- To promote, highlight and facilitate a diverse range of artistic work
- To promote inter and cross-community dialogue and contact
- Encourage the development and education of cultural diversity through the arts
- Strive to make all events associated with the programme as accessible and inclusive as possible

Applying for an exhibition
Artists wishing to be considered for a solo exhibition for the 2013 – 2014 Higher Bridges Gallery programme should forward by post a full Artistic CV of previous exhibiting experience, exhibition proposal and artistic statement, 6 - 10 images of their work in CDR format (Jpeg only). Groups are also eligible to apply. The Arts Officer for Fermanagh District Council curates the Higher Bridges Gallery in association with the Arts Advisory Committee. Work is selected purely on artistic merit / applications from and established artists both National & International are particularly welcome. The Higher Bridges Gallery aims to raise the profile of the Arts within a rural context showcasing high quality art work of the highest standard possible.
Group exhibitions of local & regional art are also curated by the Arts Office annually these include:
• 1 FT SQ Christmas exhibition
• Summer group show
• Enniskillen Visual Arts Open
