Frequently Asked Questions For: Payment/Booking Services

A.  Online payments are indicated by a sign and these cover a wide range of Council Services where you can pay securely over the internet. These services can be accessed by clicking here.

Fermanagh District Council’s secure Online Payment service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To give you more choice about how and when you pay for a wide variety of Council services, you can now pay online using your Visa, Master, Switch, Solo, Euro, Electron, JCB or Delta card. You can still pay in person by calling in to the Townhall, by telephone using your credit/debit card on (028) 6632 5050, or by sending a cheque (but not cash) through the post.

Before using the system for the first time, you should refer to our Privacy and User Policy, for information on security and how we treat the information which we receive from you. If you are in a public place we strongly advise you make sure you are not overlooked as you enter your details to prevent them being misused by somebody else.

You will receive a confirmation of your payment, including your transaction number, on your screen after you make the payment. You can print this out as confirmation. Additionally, if you provide us with an email address, your payment confirmation will be sent to you.

You should allow at least one full working day after making your payment for our records to be updated.

If your payment is not authorised this means that it has been refused by the bank. Fermanagh District Council will not know the reason for this, so you will need to contact you card issuer if you require more information.

If you have waited for confirmation that your payment has been accepted and you have not received anything and/or you have received an error message, your authorisation may have experienced technical problems. Please wait five minutes and then try again. If the problem persists, please contact us by e-mail at: it@fermanagh.gov.uk giving us the date/time of your problem. Please do not send your credit card details by standard email. If you do not have access to email then please contact us on (028) 6632 5050. Please note that we can only respond during office hours 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
