Enniskillen - Concordat Consultation Event |

| Minister for Social Development, Alex Attwood MLA, will visit a number of venues across the country in the next few weeks to engage with voluntary and community organisations, businesses, other organisations and the public. The first of these regional events will take place in the Clinton Centre, Enniskillen on Wednesday 26 January 2011 between10am and 12.30pm. All are welcome to attend.
In addition, each event will include a consultation workshop to consider the views of voluntary and community sector stakeholders on the proposals for a new Concordat for relationships between Government and the VCS – the consultation documents are available on the DSD website at (http://www.dsdni.gov.uk/index/consultations/consultation-concordat.htm).
These are key events to give local organisations, families and citizens a role in, and influence over, the budget. It is the most severe for a generation and the Minister wants as many as possible of this generation to have their say on its content.
