| The aim of the Home Safety Scheme is to reduce the number of accidents occurring in the homes of under 5 year olds and over 65 year olds.
A home safety check can be carried out in homes which fall into the criteria list, when a household requests it or in homes where referrals have been received from other health professionals, agencies or groups.
