Why not celebrate Oscar Wilde’s links to Fermanagh with a performance of his play, ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ at Enniskillen Castle. It will be performed by the renowned open air theatre company Chapterhouse, in the awe-inspiring surroundings of Enniskillen Castle on Wednesday, 4 July at 6.30pm.
With a cast of larger than life characters including; the delightful Cecily, the roguish Algernon and the formidable Lady Bracknell, you will be wildly entertained.
Visitors are encouraged to picnic and enjoy this exquisite new production of Wilde’s hilarious tale of double lives and mistaken identities, which will be presented in full period costume.
Although the play starts at 6.30pm, the grounds open for picnics from 6.00pm. Please bring your own rugs or low-backed seating.
